New Olympus M/43 9-18mm Ultra Wide Lens

Finally available this month is the long awaited Olympus 9-18mm ultra wide angle lens to fit micro four third cameras. The image quality is superb, it’s a very small lens considering the specs and at $600 it’s $350 cheaper than the Panasonic 7-14mm, however build quality is not as good as the Panasonic and the 2mm difference is substantial so could be seen as a compromise. It’s a nice looking lens (photo below with the very small 14-42mm Olympus kit lens next to it for size comparison) and recommended for users of M/43 cameras like the Panasonic GF1 or the Olympus pen models. Here’s a review!
